Baymax is the sixth and final episode of the eponymous Disney+ series, Baymax!.
Synopsis[]
Baymax's best patients come together in a frantic race to help the healthcare companion.
Plot[]
After the events of the previous episode, Hiro Hamada wakes up and notices Baymax is still missing. He becomes worried and tells Aunt Cass about it, thinking his battery must've died. Hiro decides to go look for him, and Cass closes the Lucky Cat Café for the day to help Hiro in his search. He also claims they will need a search party and decides to ask Baymax's recent patients for help.
Hiro and Cass then enlist Kiko, Mbita, and Sofia to look around the city for Baymax, although they have no luck finding him whatsoever. Kiko however finds Yachi, the cat who Baymax last helped; Sofia notices the cat has one of Baymax's lollipops, so she and Hiro deduce Baymax probably helped this kitten too. The search party ask the cat about Baymax and follow him to the abandoned warehouse where Baymax went offline, but the workers stop them from entering, believing Baymax is just an unimportant toy and telling the group they'll demolish the warehouse after lunch.
In order to sneak into the warehouse, Mbita and Cass distract the workers by offering them food while Hiro, Sofia and Kiko try to go in. Hiro uses his Microbots to reveal an underground entrance that Kiko, Sofia and Yachi use while he holds it open with the bots. The girls and cat soon find Baymax, but the workers can no longer be distracted and go back to finish their job. Before being able to blow up the building, Yachi sits atop the warehouse, so one of the workers who also loves cats halts the job and asks the team to do a second sweep to make sure no one else is inside.
Baymax is saved and the group takes him to Mbita's truck, where his charging station has also been brought. Once he is online again and sees all of his new friends are there, Baymax says he is satisfied with his care. The group chants "Little Hero 6" in excitement for their teamwork, and Baymax points out it's ironic because there does exist a group called Big Hero 6.
