The Bunny Shuttle is an A.I. vehicle in Big Hero 6: The Series.
Background[]
The shuttle was initially designed at Krei Tech, with Alistair Krei intending to sell multiple shuttles to Mayor Saito in order to reduce traffic in San Fransokyo. However, since Krei Tech's garbage trucks had been previously used in an evil scheme, the citizens feared all of Krei Tech's vehicles and the Mayor refused to make a deal with Krei to fund their production because of it.
Only a single shuttle was produced as a prototype to attempt changing Mayor Saito's mind and convince her to buy more, but since the attempt failed, no more shuttles were created.
Description[]
The shuttle is solar-powered and equipped with the most advanced self-driving artificial intelligence. Honey Lemon was asked to help with its design, and due to Honey's love for bunnies, was modeled with big bunny ears and a bunny-like face intending to be cute. Due to this, Hiro also gave the shuttle Honey Lemon's voice and based its personality off hers.
Hiro also designed a bunny ear-shaped neurotransmitter for Honey Lemon to transmit positive thoughts to it until the shuttle learned enough and could develop a happy personality of its own.
History[]
In "A Friendly Face", Honey Lemon is invited by Hiro to work on the project to make Krei's shuttles friendlier with civilians so that they'll stop fearing Krei Tech's inventions. After finishing its construction, Honey Lemon is given the neurotransmitter and goes out to see positive things such as cute animals or people being nice and showing love. Noodle Burger Boy eventually found out about the shuttle as well and plotted to steal it and make it part of his robotic family. When the shuttle was presented to Mayor Saito, she was impressed by how nice it is to people and almost made the deal with Krei Tech, until Noodle Burger Boy, Crushroom, Hangry Panda and Hyper-Potamus attacked the shuttle and kidnapped it with Saito and Krei on board.
Honey Lemon, Hiro and Baymax tracked down the shuttle to the city dump, where the shuttle itself helped Noodle Burger Boy and his sisters in putting their differences aside and becoming more supportive of each other. The shuttle then agreed to become part of the evil robot family when asked, but Hiro quickly reprogrammed Honey Lemon's neurotransmitter to override the shuttle and instead make Honey Lemon herself speak as the shuttle. Honey then started saying discouraging and negative things to the robots until they stopped caring about fighting, allowing the heroes to save Krei and Saito. The Mayor, however, was no longer interested in signing the contract, so Krei decided he'd just melt down the shuttle and turn it to scrap. Honey Lemon quickly asked him not to, so the shuttle was instead taken to Honey Lemon and Go Go's apartment, although Go Go didn't appear to like it.
