"Baymax Dreams of Fred's Glitch" (initially titled Baymax Dreams: Fred's Glitch) is the sixth and final "Baymax Dreams" short. It is based on Big Hero 6: The Series. Unlike the previous "Baymax Dreams" shorts, Fred's Glitch is an interactive short film.[1]
It was first screened on January 28, 2021, at the Sundance Film Festival.[2].
Branded as the "first premium, interactive 3D animated content of its kind featuring touch interaction," audiences are able to customize aspects of their experience including the color of Fred's upload sequence and even helping Baymax through a glitch to help move the story forward. To achieve this level of interactivity, Baymax Dreams of Fred's Glitch uses Nvidia’s GeForce NOW interactive cloud streaming platform which is capable of distributing content in real-time regardless of the capabilities of a streaming device, although a strong internet connection is required[2].
A non-interactive version of the short was uploaded to YouTube by the official Disney XD account on February 6, 2021.

Dropping Fred into Baymax's virtual mind...? Of course a glitch during the upload process causes some hiccups, one of which is named Gertrude.
Plot[]
Hiro begins to upload Big Hero 6's data to Baymax's databanks, beginning with Fred, but the upload process gets corrupted with him. Although Fred is successfully digitalized and inside Baymax's head, part of his hand is still glitched and anything he touches turns glitched as well.
Baymax tells Hiro to run his debug system to purge the glitch from Fred, but after doing so it becomes its own sentient entity which Fred quickly adopts and decides to name Gertrude. Gert however starts to glitch the rest of Baymax's head, so Fred and Baymax chase her before Baymax's systems are too corrupted to keep working.
Gertrude, having a playful attitude, continues to run away from Fred and cause havoc until most of Baymax's memory is glitched. It is then that a geared-up Baymax flies up with Gertie. Having his armor completely glitched, he tells Hiro it's their last chance to fix the glitch. Hiro manages to use the debugger on Gert at the last moment and Baymax's systems are quickly fixed.
Gertrude, now glitch-free, returns to Fred, who says she is cute but is grounded for the trouble she caused.
