Mr. Ohare is a character in "Obake Yashiki".
Background[]
Ohare has a haunted house attraction called "Mr. Ohare's House of Scares".
History[]
At the SFIT, Hiro receives an invitation for the house and tells his friends to go. When they get to the house, Ohare greets them and thinks Hiro is still a little boy.
Still, Hiro tells him he's 14, so Ohare simply gets the group to go inside while he stands outside looking at his phone. Once they get out, he simply tells them to leave a good review for the house, and goes inside.
While in the house, the team had special lenses implanted by Obake to make them see their biggest fears. Later, Hiro went back to the house when he saw and followed a hologram of his deceased brother Tadashi, though Ohare was nowhere to be seen.

- He is only credited as "Old Man".
- Although not confirmed, Ohare and his haunted attraction may have a connection to Obake, as evidenced by:
- His name, "Ohare", being nearly identical to "Obake"
- How he bears a physical resemblance to Obake, sharing the same eye color (much like Trina), pale skin tone and even similar eyebrows.
- How he makes fun of Hiro outside the haunted house.
- Him going on his phone immediately after Hiro and his friends enter the haunted house as if to text someone about their presence.
- How the team was secretly fitted with digital imaging lenses inside his haunted house, that were used to distract them at crucial times when Obake needed them distracted.
- How the actual attraction is very cheesy and campy, with little effort put into it being genuinely frightening, as well as the fact that Hiro received the invitation to the haunted house implies that Mr. Ohare's House of Scares is little more than a trap for Big Hero 6.
