Synopsis[]

Noodle Burger Boy and the mascots abduct Fred.

Plot[]

Fred wakes up as he receives a random e-mail on his phone that says he is a "winner" and giving him directions to go claim his prize. He gets up and walks to the location, causing a mess throughout the city as he doesn't pay attention to his surroundings. He arrives at "An Office Building", and enters to ask about his prize but acknowledging he never entered any contest.

He is greeted by a cardboard cutout of a woman, moved around by Sergeant Suction and voiced by Hangry Panda, who tell him that the "rules" say he has to be scanned and answer personal questions. Fred agrees, and then a robot duplicate of himself appears. Fred starts to fantasize about being best friends with it, but soon Noodle Burger Boy, Hyper-Potamus, Crushroom and Hangry Panda come out, revealing that it was all a scam and their real intention was to impersonate being Fred to infiltrate Big Hero 6 and ask about the location of their secret base to blow it up. Fred tries to escape, but is grabbed by Noodle Burger Boy, then taken to their computer room. Hangry Panda takes Noodle Burger Boy's personality chip and inserts into Noodle Fred to continue their plan, while Fred is still bound by Noodle Burger Boy's inactive original body. Despite the situation, Fred tells them he's flattered that he was the one they chose to make a robot duplicate of, but the mascots reply that he was actually the only one to pay atention to their e-mail while everyone else simply marked the message as junk.

Noodle Fred then goes to see Hiro and ask him about their base's location while the rest watch from the computer room, but Fred claims Baymax will be able to detect he's a robot. Unfortunately, Hiro tells the fake Fred that Baymax is charging and will be offline for some hours, causing Fred to be frustrated. Still, Hiro is too busy to pay attention to Noodle Fred and hands him his Energy Amplifier. Noodle Fred starts to overcharge from it, so he simply decides to leave and try with someone else. At Muirahara Woods, Go Go is birdwatching when Noodle Fred suddenly appears and startles her. The Fred-bot claims he wants to hang out with her at their base, but Go Go gets upset that he is interrupting her hobby because she's doing it to stay away from people such as himself. As the bot keeps insisting, Go Go threatens him and makes him run away.

Noodle Fred then decides to send Honey Lemon and Wasabi a "human emergency" message and waits for them at Fred's room. Though Wasabi knows Fred typically writes "Halp" instead of "Help", he believes he's simply improving his spelling. Heathcliff then enters and gives him snacks, which Noodle Fred devours. The real Fred watches and becomes sad that no one can tell they're talking to a fake; Noodle Fred then asks Wasabi and Honey to go to their secret base, and Honey actually agrees because she left her sticker album there. The robots cheer that they're finally getting what they want, but right at that instant, Honey receives an alert that El Fuego is on a rampage downtown, so Wasabi says they'll simply call Skymax, thus disappointing the mascots again.

Big Hero 6 arrives to fight El Fuego (though still without Baymax) and Noodle Fred starts crashing around and acting erratically since he had never used Fred's suit, but assures his "teammates" he's fine. Yet, his movements eventually cause Big Hero 6 to accidentally trap themselves in one of Honey's chem-balls, leaving Noodle Fred to fight El Fuego by himself. This concerns Noodle's sisters as they believe he'll blow his cover, so they immediatelly set off to help him whilst leaving Fred alone. As the mascots find El Fuego and attack him, Fred slips from the grasp of Noodle Burger Boy's body using gasoline the mascots left around in their warehouse, then takes Noodle's Go-Kart to drive where his friends are. Big Hero 6 finally realize something weird is happening, and figure Fred is not the real one when they see him working together with the other bots. El Fuego is trapped in his own wires thanks to the robots, who then try to convince Big Hero 6 that their Noodle Fred is the real one. However, the real Fred arrives and tells them he was replaced, causing the robots to panic and simply make their escape, taking back Noodle Burger Boy's chip and leaving the robot Fred's inactive body there.

The heroes lie to Fred claiming they "eventually" knew that wasn't him, yet are glad he's OK, so Fred tells them he learned two important lessons: to "not open e-mails without adult supervision" (Go Go exclaiming that's a repeat lesson), and that his friends actually need him a lot, so they simply try to hug each other but get slippery from the gasoline, with Hiro sliding away. El Fuego tries to take advantage of the situation and crawl away, but he quickly gets trapped by Honey's chem-ball.

Trivia[]

  • This is the only episode in which Baymax appears but has no speaking lines.
    • This is also the only episode where a member of Big Hero 6 doesn't have a single line of dialogue.

Errors[]

  • The Obake chip can be seen behind Noodle Burger Boy's chip when Hangry Panda opens Noodle Burger Boy's access port and takes out his chip. In the next shot, the chip Hangry is holding becomes the Obake chip and the access port is empty.
  • When Noodle Fred spins after saying "I've got a guy punching me in the face", his suit's eyebrow is miscolored blue for a moment.
  • When Hyper-Potamus first kicks El Fuego and Hangry Panda throws herself at him, Hyper-Potamus' "lipstick" disappears for a single frame.
