Return to Sycorax is the second half of the fifty-eighth episode of Big Hero 6: The Series. It premiered on February 1, 2021 and is the second segment of the eighth episode of Season 3 alongside "The MiSFIT".
Synopsis[]
When Krei is lost in the old Sycorax building, the heroes must search the abandoned monster factory to find him.
Plot[]
Hiro, Baymax and Wasabi arrive in the evening at Fred's Mansion for a movie night. They're greeted by Mini-Max and Fred, who claims they'll be watching a 5-hour movie and bought a plethora of Yaki Taco fast food for the occasion. However, Hiro, Baymax and Wasabi try to tell Fred that too much of it is unhealthy, although Fred simply decides to ignore them.
Suddenly, Hiro receives a call from Judy asking if he knows where Krei is, explaining that he had bought the old Sycorax building and both of them went to check it out, but Krei had gone missing and wasn't picking up her calls. Hiro believes he may be in danger, and quickly tells his friends to gear up with their Ultra Armors, then head to Sycorax to look for him. They go down to sub-level 9 as the monsters were formerly created there and Fred puts his Yaki Taco food inside a machine, believing it to be a microwave, then accidentally turns it on.
The team find Krei after he screams, but realize he wasn't in danger and had only screamed because his company's stock went down. As they prepare to leave, they are attacked by two monsters created from Fred's fast food that were infused with scorpion and vulture DNA, respectively. The team goes up the elevator, followed by the monsters; upon escaping them, the heroes and Krei meet with Judy at the former office of Di Amara, seeing that Judy hadn't been harmed. Hiro tells the rest they have to capture the monsters, and gets an idea using Sycorax's pod bots. Leaving the office, they force the monsters into the elevator with the bots, which begin to attack the fast food creatures with healthy food. The heroes wait at sub-level 9, and manage to lure both monsters into a containment cell. Fred accidentally eats Brussels sprouts from one of the pods but surprisingly enough, likes their taste. After making sure there are no more monsters at the building, Krei tells the heroes to leave.
Fred tells Wasabi that he was right about healthy food and has started to like it, claiming he also tried a Kale smoothie. However he quickly realizes that he accidentally left the smoothie in the monster machine, creating a new monster from it—then all of the sudden, Fred wakes up in his own bed surrounded by junk food, implying it was all a nightmare as he tells himself he won't eat before sleeping anymore—but still takes one last bite from one of his desserts.

Trivia[]
- The events in this episode are ambiguous as Fred suddenly wakes up at the very end, implying that part of the episode (or the entirety of it) was simply a dream sequence.
- This is the only episode in the series where a title card is shown that is not part of the intro.
- This is also the first episode since Season 2, and the only one in Season 3, where Big Hero 6 wear Ultra Armors (not counting the dream in “The New Nega-Globby”) and where the Sycorax company is seen.
- Wasabi reveals that he gave up fast food and takes ceramics classes. However, these may not actually be real facts given the episode's ambiguity.
- Counting "The MiSFIT", this is the first and only episode in the series where Honey Lemon and Go Go are absent in both segments. As a result, this is the only episode where their respective actresses, Génesis Rodriguez and Jamie Chung did not have a voice role.
- This is also the last episode in which not all the members of Big Hero 6 are present.
