The Entity is an unused creature from Big Hero 6.[1]
Background[]
In early drafts for the film, the inter-dimensional portal built by Yokai was located in an abandoned military base, and Yokai would steal a nuclear submarine to power it. The Entity would emerge from the portal and lay waste to San Fransokyo.[1]
However, the portal's purpose was eventually changed to be used for teleportation, so the character of Entity was dropped altogether.
Physical Appearance[]
The Entity had multiple designs, though none officially set. However, it was always conceptualized as a giant monster that would destroy the city. Concept art depicted it as a giant arachnid, a humanoid-dragon monster, a black creature, and an alien that resembles Metroids from the videogame series of the same name.
